  Xi'an has been the Chinese capital of 13 dynasties of Chinese emperors for more than 2000 years. During the golden age of ancient Rome and Constantinople, the town was contributing to the development of trade and cultural contacts between the East and the West.
Today, Xi'an is the capital of Shanxi Province and is still a leader in the center of China.

  Xi'an has the greatest number of historical monuments in China; there are 314 scheduled monuments of historical and cultural value, including the archeological excavation of the Terracotta Warriors of Emperor Qin Shiu Huang, which has been listed as one of the world heritage sites by the UNESCO. Therefore, the city itself can be called a historical museum.

  The major sights:

    - Legendary BinMaYung Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses inside the Qin Shiu Huang Mausoleum, discovered in 1974.
    - Famous Shaolin Temple.
    - Two Geese Pagodas (Da Yan At & Xiao Yan At).
    - Huanqing Hot Spring, which has been known for 2800 years.

  The feature of Xian is the combination of monuments, being evidence of intense human activity, and beautiful natural scenery, as well as the combination of a specific character of an ancient capital and the features of a modern city.
